Early Childhood Education and Grant Head Start took an On-Site Field Trip to the Vet Science Lab today to visit the animals. The preschoolers got to pet Molly the Collie, Chubs the Ferret, Burrow the Snake, Ophelia the Calico Cat, Doug the Bearded Dragon, and see Prickles the Hedgehog. Thanks to Mrs. Kline, Ms. Wagers and students for letting us come visit! It was a lot of fun!

Notification System Update

We recently discovered a glitch in our automated notification system that caused some families from last school year to continue receiving calls. We have been working closely with our service provider to correct the issue, and it has now been fully resolved.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience as we worked to fix it. Thank you for being part of Grant Nation!

🎉 Reward Day at Scene75! 🎉 As an incentive in our Government classes, students who pass their End-of-Course Government Exam earn a spot on a special field trip. Today we celebrated last year’s Government students who met that goal — and they spent the day at Scene75 enjoying games, food, and a well-deserved break. We’re proud of their hard work and determination. Great effort earns great rewards — Choose to be Great!

🍁 Grant Career Center Sources of Strength – Thankful Tree 🍁 Our Sources of Strength club created a Thankful Tree this week, giving students a chance to pause, reflect, and recognize what they’re grateful for this holiday season. From family and friends to teachers, lab partners, and opportunities here at Grant—our students filled the tree with messages that remind us what truly matters. We’re proud of our students for spreading positivity, building connections, and strengthening our school community. ❤️🌳 Choose to Be Great. Choose Gratitude. Choose Grant Nation.

Our groom of the week!
She was adopted last September from SAAP. She was pulled out of a shelter in Kentucky and was only with her foster family for a day before she came home to live with us. She spends her days playing ball, going on walks, going to the dog park, snuggling with owners and dragging all of her toys out of her toy box. She even gets dessert after her dinner every night. Penny's favorite thing in the world is chasing her ball. She could play ball for hours and never get tired. For her 1 year adopt-adversary she got a pinata that looked like a giant tennis ball, that was filled with tennis balls. She had to pull a ball attached to a string and then all of the tennis balls rained down on her. Penny's newest trick that she learned is to get amazon packages off the front porch. She is very proud of herself when she runs back inside with the package. She often will even help her owner open them if they don't stop her fast enough.
