BETHEL, Ohio — Grant Career Center has once again earned recognition as one of Greater Cincinnati’s top employers, being named the No. 2 Top Workplace in the Small Business category by the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Top Workplaces program — marking the fifth consecutive year the career center has been honored as one of the region’s best places to work.
The annual recognition, based entirely on confidential employee feedback collected through a third-party survey administered by Energage, celebrates organizations that excel in workplace culture, leadership, employee engagement, and organizational values.
For Grant Career Center, the honor reflects something deeper than awards — it reflects a culture rooted in mission.
“This recognition says so much about the people who make Grant Career Center special,” said Superintendent Mike Parry. “When you bring together passionate educators, dedicated support staff, and leaders who genuinely care about students and one another, you create something extraordinary. Being named a Top Workplace for five consecutive years — and rising to No. 2 among small employers — is a testament to our team.”

Located in southern Clermont County, Grant Career Center serves students from Bethel-Tate, Felicity-Franklin, New Richmond, and Williamsburg school districts, preparing hundreds of students each year for college, careers, certifications, and immediate workforce opportunities.
While many organizations talk about culture, Grant Career Center has built one centered around collaboration, innovation, and purpose.
Employees at Grant Career Center are not only educators — they are mentors, coaches, industry experts, problem-solvers, and champions for student success. From hands-on career technical labs to adult education programming, the organization’s focus remains clear: changing lives through opportunity.
Over the past five years, Grant Career Center has experienced significant momentum, including expanded programming, major facility investments, business partnerships, student achievement at state and national competitions, and recognition as one of the region’s educational success stories.
Principal Barry Daulton said the recognition reflects the people behind the mission.
“The culture here is authentic,” Daulton said. “People support one another, celebrate success, and stay focused on what matters most — students. This recognition belongs to every staff member who shows up each day committed to making a difference.”
Grant Career Center’s workplace culture has become one of its greatest strengths in attracting and retaining talent in an increasingly competitive education workforce landscape.
The fifth consecutive Top Workplaces recognition comes at a time when the career center continues to expand opportunities for students through modernized facilities, workforce-aligned programming, and community partnerships designed to prepare the next generation of skilled professionals.
For staff, the award confirms what many already know. Grant Career Center is more than a workplace. It’s a place where purpose meets possibility.
