Grant Career Center recently hosted its groundbreaking "Guys and Gears, Girls and Goggles" programs on December 13th and 14th, providing an invaluable opportunity for 6th-grade students to explore diverse career paths without the burden of embarrassment. The event saw enthusiastic participation, including 204 6th-grade boys, 196 6th-grade girls, and 20 homeschooled students, with the remainder coming from affiliate districts in central and southern Clermont counties.
The primary goal of these programs was to create a welcoming environment for students to delve into career exploration without the constraints of traditional gender stereotypes.
