Grant Career Center staff and students cordially invite you to join us for lunch on Wednesday March 16th, 2016 to celebrate Career and Technical Education Month.

Grant Career Center staff and students cordially invite you to join us for lunch on Wednesday March 16th, 2016 to celebrate Career and Technical Education Month. Nationally, this special month calls all Career and Technical Education providers to celebrate the success of their students and the benefits of career and technical education.  At Grant Career Center, the Parents Luncheon celebrates this success while bringing together our students’ strongest influences–parents and educators.

The luncheon will be served during your student’s normal lunch time.  If your child is a junior, lunch is served from 10:36 AM to 11:07AM.  Lunch for senior’s runs from 11:07AM to 11:37AM. The buffet lunch will be prepared and served by the Culinary Arts students. The cost of the luncheon is $5 and includes beverage and dessert.  Your student will also be permitted to purchase the lunch from the buffet at the same cost and join you for lunch. At the completion of the lunch, the students will return to their classes, but we invite you to join a guided tour of the building to see our students at work if time permits. This is a great opportunity to get a first-hand look at the great things that are happening in your community’s career and technical education facility.

We know that many parents work during the day. However, if you can get away at these times, we would love to have you join us for this special celebration. Please fill out the attached reservation slip and have your student return it if you plan to attend the luncheon. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
