The December Students of the Month were announced in early January to recognize students for their outstanding efforts in the classroom or lab setting. We are very proud of these students and their exceptional efforts.
December Students of the Month include Tristan Murphy, a New Richmond senior in the Medical Information Tech program who was nominated by several staff members for her efficient handling of the front office desk during lunchtime.
Rose Steel, a senior Horticulture student from Williamsburg was recognized by Mr. Gary Broadwell for her consistent outstanding work in the Horticulture Department. Several of Rose’s floral designs were showcased at the Holiday Board Dinner this year.
Scott Wagoner, a Metal Fabrication senior from New Richmond was nominated by Mr. Ken Ayers for great academic achievement and the willingness to help out in the building whenever needed. Scott is also employed at Grant as an after-school maintenance helper.
Our final December Student of the Month is Marissa Planck, a senior Culinary Careers student from Bethel-Tate who was nominated by English instructor Kathy Newman. Ms. Newman said, “Marissa is full of joy and spreads it as easily as she expertly spreads frosting on a cake!” Congratulations to all of the outstanding students selected this month!
