Grant Career Center offers these two options:
Adult Diploma Program: This program provides job training and a new pathway for adults, ages 22 or older, living in Ohio, and do not have a diploma/GED to earn a state-issued high school diploma AND an industry credential aligned to one of Ohio’s in-demand jobs. After achieving required scores on the Workkeys tests, students complete an ADP eligible course and will earn their diploma if they pass the requirements for their industry-credential.
22+ Adult High School Diploma: This program helps adults earn a high school diploma. The program is free to adults who are over 22 years old, living in Ohio and do not have a diploma/GED. Students take online coursework to earn their missing credits from their high school graduation requirements. After passing any required high school testing, students will earn their locally-issued high school diploma.
The video by the Ohio Department of Education below explains the different options that adult students have to earn their HS diploma or equivalent.
