Refunds and Cancellations
The Adult Education Department reserves the right to cancel any class. In the event a class is cancelled, a refund of the tuition fee will be made. No refund will be made after the first class, unless the class is discontinued. A $5 service fee is charged on all withdrawals. Please allow up to six weeks for the refund to be issued.
Grant Career Center's adult education programs are accredited by The Council on Occupational Education. If you have any comments or concerns that you would like to have addressed, please contact our Adult Education Department at: 734-6222, Option #6.
Transfer of Credit Policy
Transfer of Credit Policy Grant Career Center (GCC) does not allow the transfer of students between the two programs at GCC. The only course for which Grant will accept transfer of credit is the Nurse Aid Training Program (NATP).
Transfer of credit for the NATP class will be accepted for students transferring from other Ohio accredited institutions, and the amount of credit transferred is based on the course content previously presented to the students. The course content must be the same Ohio NATP curriculum, and studied within three months prior to the requested transfer. Students requesting credit are to submit a grade transcript for review by GCC, and the student must have earned a grade of “C” or better in coursework to be considered for credit approval. The approval process includes the approval and verification by the GCC coordinator of the NATP program, the instructor, and the Director of GCC Adult Education. GCC reserves the right to deny credit.
