Overview
In the Horticulture program, students will develop technical and academic skills needed for employment in horticultural related careers. Students spend time in the lab perfecting skills in floral arranging, greenhouse production and landscape maintenance. Students use these skills in the production of bedding plants in the greenhouse, care for the school grounds and creation of holiday and special event floral work. In the spring, students operate the greenhouse that is open daily to the public.
