Mission Statement

The mission of Grant Career Center's (U. S. Grant JVS) Adult Education Department is:  (1) to prepare adults with the necessary skills to become productive and capable employees, and/or (2) to satisfy the local residents' aspirations for training in technologies, skill building, craft creation, and other topics.

Educational opportunities and activities at Grant Career Center are provided regardless of age, race, color, national origin, disability, sex, religion, ancestory, citizenship status, economic status, military status, or legally acquired genetic information.
 
The Grant Career Center Adult Education programs are approved and operated in cooperation with the Ohio Board of Regents. Grant Career Center Adult Education is currently accredited through the North Central Association of College and Schools; however, the Grant Career Center Adult Education programs are a candidiate for Accreditation by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
