Grant Career Center offers two career-training opportunities: Computerized Business and Medical Applications (CBMA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). These programs prepare students with job skills to meet the demands of the current job market.
Transfer of Credit Policy
A “Transfer of Credit Policy” does not exist between the two Grant Career Center Adult Education programs. The two programs are Computerized Business and Medical Applications (CBMA) and the Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP/CNA/STNA).
A policy of Transfer of Credit between Grant Career Center and other Adult Education schools in Southwestern Ohio is in effect for the CBMA program. This policy is a Teach-Out Agreement, effective dates—12/15/11-12/15/16. When the Transfer of Credit policy was signed in January 2012, Grant’s NATP program was not included in the Southwestern Ohio policy. The NATP Course of Study is same Course of Study as all other AE SW schools and GCC will accept/transfer appropriate credit for the NATP program.
Full-time students in CBMA must have a high school diploma or GED to attend. The CNA class does not have this requirement.
is available to students who qualify for the Computerized Business and Medical Application program only.
